Cheddar Map and Guide

Village and Gorge traders have clubbed together to fund the production of a new free fold-out map and guide with details of shops and facilities in the local area. Copies have been delivered to all the addresses in the village, but if you didn’t get one, or need another, they can be picked up from participating stores in the village, such as the Post Office, The Olive Tree, and A Special Occasion. The guide is one document that folds in two ways, one side showing the lower gorge area and the other showing the village around the market cross. Each side has a diagrammatic map at the centre and details of local retailers and services around it, to help you get the most out of your time in Cheddar.

If you are planning a trip to Cheddar from outside the village and would like one sent to you in advance, in the past this could have been arranged by our local Tourist Information Centre. But that doesn’t exist any more as a result of council funding cutbacks, so please write to:
