New parish councillors needed

Cheddar Parish Council is short of Councillors! Following the recent election we’re 4 councillors down so will be looking to ‘co-opt’ new members in the next couple of weeks. Co-option basically means that we need you to write a short application letter and attend a very brief interview with members of our Policy and Resources committee. We’re not looking for any special skills, just common sense and a desire to help the community. What we would really like is to see applications from all age groups (most of us are 50 or over so we don’t have anyone who represents the younger members of our community) and with 4 places to fill we’re hoping we’ll get applications from all age groups.
